Children, Poor, Car Park Ramp.

I’m in a large town / small city that is unfamiliar.  It feels old, like Portsmouth, and has some pretty bad architecture which could be described as brutalist and run down.  It feels like it’s a Market day, late afternoon.  I do not know where I am

going, but am not that bothered about this, there are old buildings and newer ones on either side of the street I am walking down which are in disrepair.  Like most English large towns.  I’m in one of the concrete large ’60s shopping centre-type buildings, and go through an indoor market (?) and through an exit,  I’m pretending like I know where I’m going to look assertive.  It’s very skanky and dilapidated, grim and falling apart,  there are some poor, malnourished, dirty-looking children around and I get past them and see a ramp, like a multi-story car park lit by old artificial fluorescent lighting, leading down into daylight.

I see a peaceful, tranquil and pleasant riverside with people lounging in the bright sunshine in clean clothes and relaxed.  I look in the other direction and I’m walking down a street and see in the distance a large towerblock crumble and fall like a tree.  The street is busy and everyone stops and stares.  At this point, I feel like a bit of an outsider as this seems perfectly normal for the surrounding residents of all ages who watch the spectacle. Then a strange, grey with black patches, tubular highrise with other tubes coming out of it like some gigantic strange plumbing experiment, also in the distance near the fallen neighbouring tower. starts to sway backwards, like it is also being demolished, but instead, it moves around like it is controlled by an invisible joystick in different directions and then it falls.  Everyone in the street continues looking,  The fact that this weird tube building didn’t just fall under its weight but moved around in different directions before falling does not seem to freak out the observers.

Notes from 2024 -2025

Story Dream Notes -  2024               I’ve snuck into a neighbour’s house. It feels like I’m back in Lancashire and it’s a large 3 -level, victorian house. With completely different occupants to the ones I grew up next to. It’s an imaginary place really, with echoes of familiarity;  there is a missing wall so it's all open plan on all three levels. I'm on the top level, at the back where the kitchen was;  I'm watching the inhabitants sneakily from the top floor,  i think there is a TV and video and cushions on the floor, at some point, I decide to leave and show myself; I can’t remember why I was there and it feels awkward as I might get found out. I think I’m feeling sleepy.  I cannot find my shoes.  I make it to the ground floor and my ladder seems to be shrinking as I walk around it.  I am discovered by one of the young female neighbours, that I don’t recognise, and they are fine with me being there.  ...

I find myself dreaming that I’m in my bed… Aug '24

Dream times. Aug ‘24 In both these dreams I find myself dreaming that I’m in my bed, which I am…    1. I’m lying in bed, with a William Morris duvet cover, I’m waking up, slowly, and see the window is wide open. My foot/feet are sticking out of the duvet to the left of the double bed. I move my left foot down by 45 degrees and see that there are 2 purple birds sat perched next to the bed at foot level. Previously obscured by my feet. They are a pair, they look identical. Like pigeons crossed with parakeets. I try not to make any distractions as they might fly away. But hear in the corner behind me something moving about. I think it might be a cat, I do not own one at the moment, but keep an eye on the birds instead. I look closely at the birds and see a small insect / flea moving across its face / head. They are real. I’m still aware of the rummaging noise in the corner. 2. I’m in a quarry, we’ve just been moved there from another place which seemed quite normal. In this sp...

Getting Tall

https://deepimg.ai/ai-image-generator/ Under the bright daylight, I attend an outdoor theatre performance. The audience stands watching the actors, with wooden slats serving as a simple backdrop behind us to frame the performance space. The production shifts and we audience members are directed toward a new area for the next scene. The performers are improvising, and I'm expected to join in. As I interact with them, I become part of the show. During my participation, I suddenly grow enormous, standing tall above the small performers and the audience below. My body becomes  somewhat cartoonish—slightly grey, transparent and ghostlike. Strangely, no one notices this transformation. The change lasts only moments. I quickly return to normal size, back in my regular body, and continue participating in the performance as if the transformation has never happened.
